'Tis the season part II

So here it is, only 9 days until Xmas and we've received a whopping three, yep THREE Xmas cards. I shouldn't talk really since we only just started putting ours in the mail yesterday but ya gotta know that this year our cards required some assembly which could only really be done while a certain somebody was napping. We should get the last batch in the mail sometime tomorrow so some of you might not get yours until after the actual holiday but the sentiment is what's important anyway, right?

Take it from somebody who has already received a card (the rest of you shouldn't be offended, ours didn't have to go through the mail), they're well worth the wait. Sorry, Paige, we don't do holiday cards, but you and Sylvie are now sort of part of our family. I just started hanging some photos for Sara (mostly with hopes that she'll recognize her grandparents the next time they visit), and I decided to include other important people in her life-like you and Sylvie!

Hanging the photos to help Sara with recognizing family and friends who she doesn't get to see everyday is a great idea, (one I might just have to borrow from you!), and I am touched that Sylvie and I are to be included. You two will definitely be in our photo wall as well!

We were lazy and skipped the cards this year. Or, really, we were procrastinators and now don't have time. I even shopped for them. Ah well. Maybe we could send you a holiday strip-o-gram or something?

When I wrote this post I swear I did not mean it to be an indictment of you folks who didn't or don't send cards...it was mostly just me being a bit bummed because I feel a very childlike (childish?) burst of glee when I receive personal mail...especially now when so much of what does drop into our mailbox is "YOU OWE US $$$$$$$$$$" type stuff, ya know?

Anyway, we received several more cards on Saturday so my inner child got to do plenty of inner yippees! and I'm feeling MUCH better now.

We've been wicked slacking on cards, but they should go out tomorrow or Wed at the latest.

I think Christmas has crept up on everyone this year... I was late getting my cards out too, but in the last couple of days have gotten about 3-5/day!
Merry Christmas!! And Happy New Year!

Okay, I know your post wasn't to fuss at folks who haven't or don't send out cards, but I want you to know - we got our cards, I have address labels printed and everything. They're sitting on the coffee table where they have sat for at least 2 weeks. I promise y'all are on the list! Also... I purposely picked a card that said "Happy Holidays" because I knew it would be after Christmas. BTW, I LOVED the card you guys did. Where do you get them??
